Master of Science Environmental Health Sciences (STEM)

Program Description

The MS in Environmental Health Sciences is offered by the Division of Community, Environment, and Policy. Using an interdisciplinary approach, Environmental Health Sciences provides the critical link between environmental and occupational exposures and human health. The Master of Science degree is designed for individuals who seek training in environmental health research. It is anticipated that graduates will occupy positions as project leaders, program directors, and research personnel in academic, government, corporate, community group, and industrial settings. Arizona's first and only accredited college of public health, the University of Arizona Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health is uniquely situated in the culturally rich and diverse Southwest. Admission Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • At least one course in college biology
  • At least one course in calculus
  • Inorganic chemistry
  • Organic chemistry is recommended
