Overview

The University of Arizona is a public land-grant research university in Tucson, Arizona. Founded in 1885 by the 13th Arizona Territorial Legislature, it was the first university in the Arizona Territory. 

At the University of Arizona there are 19 colleges and over 65 research centers and laboratories. Students can choose from more than 150 undergraduate degrees, 210 graduate programs and 100 doctoral programs across subject areas ranging from arts and astronomy to entrepreneurship, engineering and social sciences.
