Kent State University is a public research university in Kent, Ohio. The university also includes seven regional campuses in Northeast Ohio and additional facilities in the region and internationally.

Kent State is northern Ohio’s highest-ranked public university and features in the list of top public schools and national universities as published by U.S. News & World Report. The university is also classified as an elite research university by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education, one of only five institutions in Ohio to have that distinction.

Kent State is home to students and faculty from every corner of the globe, with a student body of around 35,000 representing nearly 120 nationalities, all working for a brighter tomorrow. The university has 11 colleges offering about 350 programs of study.
